The first main activity of the 2018 ECYC work plan on youth work & prevention of violent radicalisation, funded mainly by the Council of Europe’s European Youth Foundation, is a Massive Online Open Course (MOOC).
The course is taking place from the 15th of June until the 31st of July 2018. It comprises 8 online activities that will help participants understand basic notions of youth work practice dealing with prevention of youth violent radicalisation (legislation, concepts and definitions, history, main actors, examples of current practices etc.), as well as the major steps for developing a youth work project addressing this issue. No idea how a MOOC works? No worries, it’s super easy: participants will receive instructions and accreditation to log in to the online platform from their computer. That’s it!
Participation in the MOOC is free of charge. To participate, please register via this link. For any questions related to this MOOC or the other activities of this work plan, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. And don’t forget to inform the youth workers in your organisation about this great opportunity! 😉
